Engineer, Developer, Author
I have years of experience in hardware, software, and systems engineering. Along the way I’ve been a designer, implementer, manager, therapist, and cheerleader for both small volume military devices and high-volume consumer products. I’ve been fortunate to be involved in some of the exciting innovations of the last decades: The microprocessor and personal computer revolution, the proliferation of online services, the creation of satellite TV services, and the development of wireless connectivity. I've been, and will always be, a designer and hands-on implementer. I was president of my own consulting company and I've been a director and vice president of engineering at several corporations. I designed and built my own Newtonian reflector telescope when I was a teenager and as an engineering professional, I led the development of complex systems and managed multimillion-dollar projects. I guess you could say, "I've been there and done that".
